Hi Shep, I just wanted to let you know how much fun our golf group from Illinois had partying in the Fort Bayou Sallon during our brief but joyful stay in Mississippi. You, your help and patrond showed "southern hospitality" at it's finest. Myself being fron Tenn. recognized it but it sure opened the eyes of my fellow "Yankee" friends. They are constantly telling all their friends about the southern treatment they received from your patrons and help.

Although I have lived on the Mississippi coast for years, my friends and I just recently happened into the Fort Bayou Saloon. I wish we had found it a long time ago. What a great little place!

We are down here working from up north. Great little neighborhood bar. We really like coming here. Everyone here makes us feel welcome and at home. It's a great place to relax after a long day.

I really want to thank the owner and employees of The fort Bayou Saloon for providing everyone free meals for the weeks after hurricane Katrina. If it wasn't for their hospitality a lot of folks would not have been able to eat as there weren't many places open. This will be our regular place from now on.

Hey Everyone, Our first visit to Fort Bayou Saloon was a bittersweet adventure! We were in town to celebrate my 43 birthday . Pretty much at the same time you guys were expecting Hurricane Dennis. To my dismay they were rolling the town up and everything was closing down. While driving around on that beautiful Saturday afternoon, we were parched from all of the fun and sun and wanted to wet our whistle. When we stumbled upon the friendliest little joint, I ever did see. Thanks to the great Yulka, Angie, Kim, and "regulars" I feel like ya'll rolled out the Red carpet and made it one of the Best birthdays ever! You made my boyfriend and I feel like we were at home away from home. We have since then, hoped in the truck and headed back. We had a great time this weekend, great Food, Good music and a lot of friendly people. Looking forward to seeing ya'll again real soon!

Hello, My name is Dixie Taylor and this has been my home away from home for over a century. They make the best cocktails and the coldest beer on the coast. People are very friendly and always make you feel at home. A fine gent named Redneck cooks the best crawfish that will ever pass thru your lips. I might enjoy this place more than most, because of my Dad being the previous owner and now Director of Public Relations (retired). A big smile and a nice welcome will always greet you.

Just wanted to say if you have never been to this bar, please stop by, thanks to Dixie and Dave Taylor after living in Jackson County all my life I finally found the place to stop by anytime and find a smile or good joke and the best bartenders around, and the people will always make you feel welcome,,,,,
